All children age 5 though 18 are eligible to play. The U means under, so if your child is 5 they would play U6... etc. The age bracket is based on birthday, your child must be 5 by August 1st. Children who's birthday's are after August first will play the lower age bracket. For example, if your child turns 6 August 15, they will be U6.
ALL players MUST wear shin guards and SOCCER cleats.
Stoners Soccer is STRICTLY Recreation therefore NO scores or stats should be kept. Coaches and parents can post pictures in local newspapers by contacting our Public Relations Coordinator.
Games are on Saturdays and practice varies based on field availability and coaches.
U6, U7 and U8 will be intramural. Teams will play in house vs other Stoners teams. U6 teams are co-ed. Usually U7 and above are separated however there are occasions where a team may be mixed.
U9 and above will play other clubs within Wyoming Valley Youth Soccer Some travel is necessary, but is all within the valley. All field directions are listed on the field direction page.
We have 813 players, therefore it is very difficult to accommodate all requests. We will make every attempt possible however team and friend requests are NOT guaranteed!
