Greater Pittston Stoners Youth Soccer

This Saturday in Pittston is the Tomato Festival 5k and parade which means the main roads in Pittston and bridges coming into Pittston will be closed beginning at 9:30am through 12:30-1pm.

Anyone coming into Pittston for games at the Martin Mattei Middle School between 10am and 12:30pm use the following directions.

From across the river: (Wyoming/Forty Fort/Kingston/Back Mtn,etc...)
Come across the 8th street bridge,  turn right  on Thompson St and follow it to the end where it meets Main St, turn right onto Main St and make the first left (Bypass Rd.) to get on the bypass. Follow the bypass to the second stop light (Curry Donut on corner) and turn left towards William St and quick right on to Laurel St (road going up past donut shop). Follow road for a few 100 yards and at Advanced Auto Parts turn left on Center St. Follow Center St for approximate 1.5 miles to the Y in the road at Parsonage St. Turn left  and then New St. will be next right and Middle school is on your left. 

From Wilkes-Barre/Hanover
Come up Rte 315 into Pittston or take 81 North to the Pittston exit and proceed to the light at Oak St (Volvo dealership is on right). Turn left onto Oak St and follow to intersection with the bypass and turn right. Follow the bypass to the next stop light (Curry Donut on corner) and turn left towards William St and quick right on to Laurel St (road going up past donut shop). Follow road for a few 100 yards and at Advanced Auto Parts turn left on Center St. Follow Center St for approximate 1.5 miles to the Y in the road at Parsonage St. Turn left  and then New St. will be next right and Middle school is on your left.

Please leave a few minutes early in the instance of any additional traffic along these routes related to the parade to ensure all games start on time.

Greater Pittston  Stoners Youth Soccer
We are a recreational youth soccer club. Providing soccer for children aged 5 to 18. Our organization has approximately 700 players for Fall Season. We also offer a Spring Season.

The Greater Pittston Stoners Youth Soccer Organization, Inc.,exists to foster and perpetuate the game of soccer where fair play, and proper sporting behavior will be displayed at all times. This corporation is incorporated to establish and maintain an organization through which the youth under the age of 19 in the Greater Pittston region may learn and participate in the game of soccer, thereby deriving all the traditional educational benefits thereof including self-respect, regard for others, teamwork, sportsmanship, and competitive skills. It is the further purpose of the organization to promote community spirit among the participants and combat the menace of juvenile delinquency in all its forms.
